In-8, fawn calf, triple gilt fillet, spine decorated with grotesque, red and dark green parts, interior roulette, gilt edges (Petit succr de Simier). First edition of this study on theater and scenic art in Antiquity, decorated with 4 copper engravings, one of which folding signed by Edmond Charpy. A nice copy, well bound. Manuscript bookplate on the title.
