BRAZIL XIXth CENTURY
Part of a gilt toiletry set composed of two large powder boxes, a soap box and an ointment jar with the coat of arms of Thérèse Cristina de Bourbon-Sicile, or of the Two Sicilies, Empress of Brazil (1822 - 1889), wife of Pedro II last Emperor of Brazil. The powder boxes and the ointment jar are cylindrical, engraved on the lid in a band of leafy motifs on a background of amati, the repercé with leaf motifs. The soap box, rectangular, is pierced with motifs of leaves framing the coat of arms applied to each element.

Weight : 944 g - height : for the powder boxes, 5,3 cm for the ointment jar - length of the soap box : 7,8 cm - width : 5 cm - height : 3,6 cm
