Silver hunting spoon. The stem, ending in a deer hoof, is extended by a long rat-tail attachment on the hammered spoon.
Master silversmith : onomastic mark, attributed to a member of the BOULANGER family, an important family of silversmiths over several generations in Paris and Troyes, with a sheaf of wheat as a symbol, or a member of the FAGOT family according to Michèle Bimbenet-Privat's interpretation.
