Pair of ember tongs, Iran qâjâr, early 19th century
Pliers with two long branches with flowered ends and contours highlighted with gold, opening under the action of a metal slider placed in a vertical notch. Finely champlevé and engraved decoration on the whole, of characters in bust in the fleurons, of a composition gul-o-bulbul on the branches.
Length : 34 cm
An accident repaired on a branch.
