Swiss pocket watch for the Ottoman market by A. Köpe, Geneva, late 19th century
In 18K (750 / 1000) gold with two cases, the exterior finely chased with a rosette, monogrammed MC in the center of the cover which contains the dial. The latter silvered with Turkish numerals enamelled in black, the center and the circumference decorated with two-tone golden foliage, a second small dial in the lower part. On the back, in the second case, engraved inscriptions: "A. Köpe - Geneva, n°9223, 15-jewel anchor escapement". Ribbed bulbous crown with a ring.
