Fragments of a large scrolled crater attributed to the Baltimore painter
Fragments of a red-figured crater painted with a naiskos flanked by men and women, an Eros presenting a phiale to a woman (Aphrodite?), an armed warrior facing Poseidon holding the trident, a woman holding a casket and an amazonomachy scene. Decorated with palmettes, female masks, rosettes and posts. Handles in duck heads and Gorgon masks.
Black glazed ceramic with red figures. Rehauts of white and yellow.
Magna Graecia, Apulia, 4th century BC, c. 330-320 BC.

Two fragments of vase lips are attached.
