Roy de France & de Navarre, given in Saint Germain en Laye in April 1667 - Paris ; Jean Henault, André Cramoisy, Jean Baptiste Coignard, 1668 - 1 volume In-4° - 1 marginal halo on the first 8 leaves, 1 very small marginal tear on the first 3 leaves - Binding of the period in granite tan basane (1st hinge and jaws cracked, 3 corners dull, small epidermis, (1st hinge and spine split, 3 corners dull, small spalls, 1 very small lack on the 2nd plate) - Spine decorated with fleur-de-lis and gold titling (upper headpiece and part of the 1st box missing) - Edges speckled with red - First edition of this legal form which implements the 1st ordinance of the Code Louis, on the reformation of civil justice, whose 35 articles essentially deal with the hierarchy of the courts of justice, the discipline of magistrates, procedure and civil status. The second ordinance, in 1670, focused on the reform of criminal justice.
