In-12, 160 x 125 mm, havana morocco signed The Dove Bindery, double gilt fillet framing in which appears another framing decorated with corner fleurons and small dots running along the framing, five-ribbed spine, caissons decorated with fleurons, gilt edges, inner border, cover not preserved, in a slipcase.
112 pp. ORIGINAL EDITION enriched with a tribute from the author to Mr. Van Branteghem. Edition of 20 numbered copies and 300 unnumbered copies on vellum. One of the 300 copies.
Alphonse Van Branteghem (Antwerp, 1844 - 1911), a renowned bibliophile and collector of Greek ceramics, had his library bound, notably in London. The "Doves Bindery" was created in 1893, by the bookbinder Thomas James Cobden Sanderson, under the influence of William Morris, leader of the "Arts & Crafts" movement.
