Elene Usdin is a photographer, illustrator and comic book author. She has worked in film, press and publishing. In 2017, her trip to Canada made her discover the abduction of native children by federal authorities in 1960 and 1980, a subject that will be the theme of her album René.e aux bois dormants, her first graphic novel, in direct color, released in 2021 by Sarbacane Editions.
