GILLES MARTINOT, Paris Late 17th century Gilt metal onion watch with a single hand and striking. Hinged case with decoration on the back representing foliage motifs. Gilded dial with white enamel cartouches, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, minute track and setting disc for the alarm function on Arabic numerals. Rooster movement, large spiral balance, fusee and chain, baluster pillars, signature on the plate.
