Drescher (Dortmund) Representing a standing male figure, hands clasped on his stomach, face with powerful features, hips girded with a cloth garment covering his sex, head surmounted by a headdress decorated with a crown made of plant fibers. Remains of red polychromy on the whole body. This type of statue could be a local retranscription of the figure of Christ with his crown of thorns, part of the Cargo cult, aimed at attracting wealth and prosperity.
