Large carved boxwood Christ, rough back. Head tilted on the right shoulder, face with half-closed eyes from which tears flow, eyebrows and nose with sharp edges, drooping moustache and pointed beard; hair surrounded by a twisted crown with intertwined locks resting on the shoulders; long body with accentuated and stylized anatomy, prominent ribcage, hollow sternal stripes; bony legs with prominent knees and angular shins; pleated perizonium held by a cord with lateral fall on the right hip. Beautiful quality of execution.
