BOUCHERON - "Serpent de Bohème" - Long necklace in yellow gold 18K (750 thousandths) composed of a braided mesh holding a pendant piriform paved with brilliant-cut diamonds, the pearled border, topped by a safety pin to model. Spring clasp. Signed Boucheron and numbered. Gross weight: 15.8 g. Length: 80 cm approximately. (Adjustable length). In 1888, Frederic Boucheron gave his wife a necklace in the shape of a snake to protect her during her travels. Since then, this protective animal motif has become a Boucheron classic. First leaving the House's workshop in 1968, the Serpent Bohème collection has endured through the ages while maintaining its modernity. In 2017, the new creative director, Claire Choisne, is giving this line a makeover for the first time after nearly 50 years by giving it the sparkle of colored stones...
