This emblematic work of Raymond
Delamarre was originally created in 1927 to decorate the dining room of Mr. Jacques Dembiermont in his property of Grandcamp. The first print had a gold finish.
The success of this bas-relief led the artist to print a few rare proofs with slight modifications and all signed differently.
To date, five proofs have been located, including ours.
