SILK CESARE RUG (warp, weft and silk velvet)
Central Turkey, second half of the 20th century

The carpet is decorated with a double central poly-lobed medallion, extended by two pendants on an ivory background enhanced by an elegant polychrome stylized floral decoration. The whole composition is decorated with four spandrels. A tobacco border with flower garland surrounds the composition.
