The loggia known as "Raphael's" is a room located on the second floor of the Vatican Palace, made famous for its incredible frescoes with subjects of fauns and flora, and for its incredible grotesques decorating the pillars overhung by vaults decorated with biblical episodes, the whole executed between 1517 and 1519. These decorations were the result of the unprecedented enthusiasm for the discoveries made during the archaeological excavations of the late eighteenth century. We draw attention to the extremely precise and rigorous resumption of the motifs treated with the greatest finesse.
