Rare porcelain vase
The form resembling that of the archaic "Hu" models, mounted on a foot, the body decorated with three series of double nets in relief, the shoulder slightly swollen, the neck flared at the opening, with a monochrome blue glaze called "moonlight", two side handles taking the form of pushou with rings. A six-character Qianlong mark in cobalt blue under the base, glazed white.

Rare Clair de Lune porcelain vase, Hu
Inspired from the shape of the classic archaic bronze hu, the rounded sides resting on a gently sprayed foot rising to a flared mouthrim. The waisted neck flanked by a pair of stylized relief-moulded archaic masks handles holding a ring in their mouths, covered overall in a light pale blue glaze and moulded with three raised bands, the base inscribed with an underglaze blue six-character mark in seal script
