Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg, reign of Alexander II (1855-1881). Green stamp marks. D. 18,5 cm. History This pair of plates is probably a later addition to the original service produced by the Gardner factory commissioned by Catherine II as a gift to Count Ilya Andreevich Bezborodko in 1784. During the reign of Tsar Alexander II, a restocking of this service was ordered, of which our two pieces are part.
