Second edition of this extensive gemological treatise. In the first book the physical qualities of gemstones are illustrated, in the second the virtues and influences they exert, with an alphabet of colors and a table recalling the name, etymology, color, species, place where they are found and the virtue of each gemstone, the third and last book is devoted to the "sculptures found in stones."
