Proof in carved and polished ivory.
The lid with very finely carved and chiseled decoration in white mother-of-pearl and mother-of-pearl haliotis in intarsia.
The base and the lid with stick patterns in mother-of-pearl haliotis.
About 1925.
Yellowing on the reverse side of the white mother-of-pearl plate.
Signed G. BASTARD, on the back of the base.
