Port-Brieuc, the (22 prairial, year 6 of the French Republic [10 MAY 1798] At Port-Brieuc, Beauchemin's printing office. Poster of Messrs. Baudouin, le Provost, Barbedienne, Le Mée, Pouhaèr, Le Gorrec, ordering the sale of all the NATIONAL DOMAINS. Rare in folio leaflet of 45 x 38 cm of the canton of Port-Brieuc which was the provisional and republican name of Saint Brieuc during the Revolution. Surmounted by a rare and beautiful revolutionary vignette signed and dated by the engraver "Conche an 5" at the bottom. Absent from the Bezamat, Les Vignettes emblématiques de la Révolution et de l'Empire, but close to a model found for the department of Finistère. Cross folding (slight tear at the head). Annotation of the time in pen (verso) " Au Citoyen Thomas au château A Quintin ", the placard seems to have been sent then to the occupant of the domain. No copy at the CCFr for this placard.
