Throne carpet, China
Decorated with four lotus flowers standing out on an imperial yellow background. At the bottom border, the water cycle with the mountain receiving snow, its melting and transformation into water, water into steam and steam into snow. Nice height of wool, and good general condition for a carpet of this age.
