Important pair of eagles of facings
In patinated bronze, chased, mounted in two parts.
Height : 46 cm. 46 cm ; Wingspan : 38 cm.
One eagle with one sulphur eye and one chased, the other with two missing sulphur eyes.
A.B.E. Second Empire period.
These eagles, of a beautiful model, evoke, with differences, those which decorate in particular the corners of the Vendome column. They must have been used to decorate an official residence during the Second Empire.
