Pulp up the jam
By gently applying paper pulp by hand - historically used in Puglia for the restoration of statues - the chair was given a strange silhouette. This new morphology was then painted, in the tradition of the pretense of transforming a simple plaster into an exceptional mineral. The chair has changed its material reality; it has gone from wood to an imaginary marble. Playing with the art of illusion, we like to modify the visual perception of the material, for its surprising possibilities of transformation of the existing.
