Annotated on the reverse in black ink in capital letters: Marie-Louise Levasseur de Béçel (?) Pinx Anno 1701.

After the composition of Raphael (1518) from the former collection of Queen Claude of France in the Louvre Museum (INV. 604).
The name of Levasseur De Becel appears as a handwritten Ex - Libris twice on a copy of Bossuet's Discours Universel (1681) dedicated to the Grand Dauphin.
