"His most Christian majesty Louis XVIII has just made me pass a letter for his serene highness the Elector of Saxony which has for object to notify to this prima the death of King his nephew as the attached copy will make you know it. I think Sir that there is no indiscretion to have the honor to address it to the minister of a sovereign of his blood by asking him to have the goodness to make it reach its destination. I am very pleased that an opportunity has arisen for me to assure you of the distinguished consideration and sentiments with which I have the honor to be Sir Your most humble and obedient servant."
