Bergerie both on the departure of the Escoliers, because of the last contagion, and on their return to the university of Paris.
Slnd [circa 1596], in-8 bound in full tortoiseshell calf, spine decorated with fleurons, title page, gilt border on the boards.
The frontispiece is missing, as often. Skilful small restorations in the margin of the last leaf.
Very rare piece in verse. Ex-libris of Dr Desnos.
M. Soleinne's dramatic library "The frontispiece is missing in this copy, so that I do not know the date of printing, but I date this piece to 1596, because indeed the plague reigned in Paris in that year, that the university suspended its lessons and did not return until November 1, 1596" Note by M. de Soleinne (ref. 856).
