René Paris (1881-1970) Fawn Bronze with light brown patina shaded with red Signed " René Paris " on the terrace H. 15 cm, terrace 15.5 x 5 cm, black marble base H. 2 cm. Trained by Isidore Bonheur and Mathurin Moreau, René Paris worked alongside Georges Gardet and Victor Peter. A precocious talent, he exhibited at the age of sixteen at the Salon from 1897 and at the Salon des artistes animaliers from 1913.
