G.I. Brodie (late 18th/early 19th century), four oval portraits, purporting to be of the same family: Nathaniel Gooding Clarke (Chief Justice of Brecon), Constance Clarke (nee Stephenson - wife of Nathaniel Gooding Clarke), Rev. Edward Harwood (vicar of Shenstone, Staffordshire) and Miss Farnam (wife of Rev. Edward Clarke), each with attributing label on the reverse, oil on panel, each 20.5 x 15 cm, framed and glazed.

The handwritten attributing labels were prepared by descendant I.M. Murray. A further label on each painting described I.M. Murray as Inez M. Murray (nee James) daughter of Harry Berkley James and Constance Lucy James (nee Clarke) who lived at The Oaks in Surrey, the Adam's house... built for Lord Derby..... After the death of her husband Harry James, Constance Lucy James sold The Oaks in 1910. Artist's Resale Right Applies FALSE
