Levanto, the beautiful copper title in turn is a mirror copy of the title of Goos' Zee Atlas. - The numerous woodcuts in the text show navigational instruments, coastal and harbor charts and especially hundreds of coastal elevations; the maps with the beautiful gest. coastal and island maps. - "A manual that was immediately popular with seafarers and helmsmen.
