VAN DEN EYNDE, Auguste (attributed to) 10 views of gates, mansions, church interiors, largely disappeared in the 19th c. 1840-1860 Drawing, pen, black ink, grey wash, wove paper, ca. 16 x 20 cm to 36 x 55 cm (sm. defects, a few underlaid). 1. "De Waeter Poort gezien lands de stadt". Watercoloured. Winketpoort after being demolished in 1843. - 2. "Ruin of the Cow Gate". Watercoloured. Koepoort before being completely demolished in 1808. - 3 "Binnen Gezigt van de Overste of Brusselsche Poort te Mechelen". - 4 "Distse poort buyten gesight". - 5. "Hof van Busleyden, geb. 1503-1507. Berg v. Bermhert, 1620". - 6. watercolored mural on the right side of the entrance of the Hof van Hoogstraten, depicting a Frisian ox given to the Lord of Hoogstraten in 1526. Broken down in 1826. - 7. watercolored mural on the left side of the entrance of the Hof van Hoogstraten, depicting a sheep given to the wife of Antonius II de Lalaing in 1578.
