Beautiful flintlock pistol of officer model 1816,
attributed to the Royal Guard or the King's Household, from a pair.
Bronze-plated barrel, richly decorated with gold thunder of the great arms of France. Lock
with flat body signed "à Maubeuge" and round body hammer. Copper-plated brass fittings.
Tail of trigger guard and trigger in squared iron. Cap with the three flowers of lilies. Stock
in drowning squared. Brass-tipped brass ramrod.
