Rome and Constantinople seated facing each other, holding together a shield on which one reads: VOT XXXV MVLT XXXX. At the exergue, SMIR*. Wishes for the 35th anniversary of reign and more for the next 40 ♦ Cohen 124; RIC 60 Solidus (gold penny) struck at Sirmium. (4,59 g) Small nick on edge on obverse at 10 o'clock. Veiled flan. Superb.
