Piece of furniture of support with cut sides realized in blackened wood composed of a leaf whose central part lets appear a floral composition and foliage in foliage, made in inlay of ivory, brass and mother-of-pearl. Note also a bronze rod with Greek corner underlining the central composition. The angles are decorated with female busts in finely chased and gilded bronze. The ensemble rests on quivering feet. The top is made of white Carrara marble and is underlined by a bronze rod with a frieze of ovals. Interior with shelving in mahogany. The edge of the lock is engraved " A. BASTET LYON " firm in furniture and tapestry whose " founder is Antoine Bastet, active in Lyon from 1864 to 1935 ".
