With Du cidre pour les étoiles, Jean-Claude Fournier tackles science fiction head-on. Invited to attend a mycology course by the Count of Champignac, the Ksorians, inhabitants of a distant galaxy, take a liking to the local cider and soon cause quite a stir among the neighboring population. Not bad, but a little too turbulent, these aliens travel on curious flying machines. Fantasio almost gets knocked over by one of them.
