Occasionally heavy foxing, oxidation, dusting, various accidents (the edges of the leaves very brittle, with numerous tears and small tears, sometimes formerly summarily consolidated by strips of paper glued), marginal moisture halos to some plates. Soiling and ink discharges on the reverse. Title plate lacking preservation, with consolidation paper strip along lower margin, bearing the dry stamp of the Regia Calcografia di Roma (Lugt 2144, in use from 1870 to 1946). All margins.
