)The Virgin with the Child and the Bird. Etching. 145 x 218. Bartsch 18; Bellini (Cantarini) 4. Beautiful proof on thin laid paper, trimmed inside the plate cut, slightly oxidized. Light scattered foxing. Small lack in the lower left corner (redone on the reverse). Thin median horizontal fold, other traces of folds and minor accidents. Ex-coll. Prince Soutzo (Lugt 2341) with 4 lines of Cyrillic text in pen and sepia ink.
