An exceptionally decorated chalice, probably made in North Germany.17th century.
Gold-plated silver, marked with maker's mark.
Calix is richly decorated with angles, images of Joseph with Globus Cruciger, angels with a crucifix and praying, fruit baskets. Stem decorated with 3 praying angels in the shape of 3 graces. Base with medallions depicting the Holy Family, and Madonna and finished with angel heads with large wings, Tulips.
