BERAIL in Carcassonne Late 18th century Gilt metal watch with striking. Hinged case, bezel set with Rhinestones, the back with two medallions in polychrome enamel, presumed portraits of Louis XVII and Marie Therese, the two children of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic for the minutes, minute track. Movement has cock, escapement with rod, fusee and chain, adjustment disc advance and delay, bell ringing, signature on the plate (visible transformations). With a protective case in shagreen.
