Robert Coates. The British Pavilion at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Large silver photographic print, drystamp in lower right margin and stamp on back stating "Robert E. Coates, New York," 1939, size 23.9 x 30 cm, fold mark in upper left corner. The inscription on the monumental doors of the pavilion mentions "British pavilion is dedicated to lasting peace and friendship between the peoples of the United States of America and the British Empire". Very nice quality.
