Three volumes in-4, [4]-X-[2]-XLVIII-421-[3] p., 51 f. of folding plates ; [4]-IX-[1 bl.]-477-[1 bl.]-[2] p., 22 f. of folding plates ; [4]-VII-[1 bl.]-384-[6] p., 40 f. of folding plates, contemporary binding in marbled calf, spine ribbed and decorated, red title and tomaison, red edges. Well completed with 113 beautiful folding plates engraved in intaglio. Original edition which gathers, in addition to the comments on the history of Polybius, a Treaty of the column, a Treaty of the attack and the defense of the places of the ancients, a Treaty of the defense of the places. Beautiful copies, despite a few defects in the bindings, fresh interior, a few spots, to note a wormhole which crosses the last half of the second volume without altering the reading.
