ROYAL ALMANACH, common year 1789. Paris, De l'Imprimerie de la Veuve D'Houry & Debure, s.d. [1789]. In-8, red morocco, large gilt frame on the boards, coat of arms in the center, spine decorated with a fleur-de-lys decoration, interior roulette, gilt edges (Period binding). One of the last years of the Royal Almanac, here famous year of the French Revolution. Binding decorated with a plate by Dubuisson, with undetermined arms (bird waving at the head of three suns). The plate is among the 12 presented in the 1910 catalog of Rahir's bindings (n°184-k). Handwritten bookplate of Antoine Tremolières, Canet, October 1822, with repeated signature on the endpapers. Small tear without missing on the edge of leaf Qq1, light foxing. Corners and covers restored.
