Sailing model of the Yacht LEONORA. Schooner type rigging. Hull with long keel and typical American schooner rigging. Bow with gaff. Hull in solid wood carved hollowed out painted in black for the dead works and "copper" for the lively works. Painted hull. Lead keel. Varnished deck. Rigging (removable for transport) of auric type. Masts in two parts assembled by brass sleeves. Varnished pine (Oregon?) masts and spars. Complete set of sails in Egyptian cotton. Brass fittings. Presentation cradle. Origin : England or USA circa 1880. Dimensions: Hull length 1.45 m, Length HT 1.94 m, max height on its presentation cradle: 1.75 m. The sails have been professionally refurbished in the 2000's, marks of time but nevertheless remarkable condition. Note: This sailing model is of a rare beauty and a great rarity.
