Sundial in brass. Square shaped table, brass style, precision edge added and screwed. Engraved at the point "For the latitude of 47 degrees 54, m - Meurand - Quai de l'Horloge du Palais N° 45 à Paris". Dimensions : 20,5 cm on a side. Note : Antoine Joseph MEURAND (1750/1789) was a very famous manufacturer of scientific instruments (surveying and mathematics). He was, among other things, juror (grand master) of the brotherhood of founders between 1770 and 1772.
