Cartwell hat by JACQUES HEIM - circa 1950
The model is made of sisal and black velvet.
The shape has a wide sisal brim with several rows decreasing on the top. The base has a crescent-shaped cap to let the hair pass on the back. It has a small visor on the front supporting the rows of sisal and is covered with velvet. The whole is covered with a black veil applied on the top with a decoration of large pompoms in black chenille.
The interior is lined with straw with a grosgrain band on the border and the claw in the background: JACQUES HEIM (black claw on white background). The hat has an elastic band covered with black velvet.

The hat is sold with a box of the house.
A fold on one side due to bad storage. The velvet covering the elastic is unraveled on one side.
The box is in poor condition with various dust, stains and moisture deformations
