This is a jacket made of black silk and silk taffeta green water. The shape is very fitted with long sleeves gigot coming to tighten at the armhole. The cuffs are buttoned and have lace lapels while the shoulder is enhanced by a wide and bubbled strap. The model has a simple round collar and closes on the front by simple cross with glass buttons. The front is decorated with two bands of jet pearls. The waist is marked with a basque flaring through hollow folds. The interior is lined with a thick canvas.
Presence of two hooks on the front of the shoulders certainly intended to hang a cape or a collar.

The taffeta of the sleeves is studded with spots of discoloration with some stains.
The black silk is a little scratched in places.
