Rare MARASALI carpet (Caucasus), end of the 19th century
Dimensions : 145 x 100cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on wool foundation.
Old gold background, enriched with a mihrab and semis of palmettes in sky blue, ivory, brick red and black, enriched with flowers.
Main border brick background with stylized polychrome parrots between two borders decorated with small flowers. A certificate of authenticity of the expert, Mr Frank KASSAPIAN, will be given to the buyer.
