Helmet of Dragon troop model 1845.
Steel minerva-shaped helmet with gutter, heavily oxidized and stained (the back of the top filled in with tin). On the back several illegible punches of which perhaps a date 1853 (?). Steel visor and helmet cover lined with brown basanes (visor, helmet cover and basanes later and reported) and bordered on the circumference of a brass ring. Turban covered with a navy cow skin band (later, style) laced on the back with four pairs of metal eyelets. Crest in stamped brass, the mask stamped with a flaming bomb surmounted by a medusa head with, above, a wreath of laurel and oak branches (the upper part damaged and repaired) and the fins stamped with eight gadroons of decreasing shape, The "rain screen" protecting the top of the crest of a decoration showing a braided mane (disassembled from the crest). Brass crest holder with scarlet mane puff. Mane in black mane with an effective length of 60 cm. Brass plume holder with foliage decoration on the left side of the bomb, without plume. Pair of chinstraps with brass curb chains in the shape of "8" interlaced, mounted on black leather chinstraps and their rosettes with radiating center in brass (the nuts of the screws fixing the rosettes are missing). Brown leather inner cap (style and posterior). Complete.
