France, Restoration (1814-1830). National Guard mounted gibernacle model 1814. Wooden case covered with leather, brass sides, the pattelette lined with a silvered brass rim and decorated in the center with a silvered copper fleur-de-lis. Black leather band complete with its silver plated brass trimmings decorated with bat wing motif and a royal crown not openwork linking with three chains with pins a shield stamped with a fleur de lys. Box: 8 x 14.5 x 3 cm. Pattelette : 17 x 11 cm. (wear and accidents of use, the leather of the banner restored and lined with a later leather, the leather flap of the closing of the casket pattelette damaged, fairly good condition).
