one with corner fleurons on the boards, spine decorated with nerfs, interior gilded fillets, edges
gilt on witnesses, illustrated cover preserved, case (Mercier, sr of his father, 1914).

Published as part of the collection of the Nouveau magasin des enfants (see also n°s 123, 141
also n°s 123, 141 and 218 of the catalog).
Precious copy on strong vellum paper, quoted by Carteret, enriched with 72
woodblock prints (out of 92 illustrations) printed on China paper, one of which is
annotated in pencil by Bertall with his signature.
